1]  NEED OF ECO-FRIENDLY LAB “GREEN LAB"

The world is facing the environmental problem. The drastic destruction of nature, flora and fauna is very clearly observable. The whole world is trying to make implementation of eco-friendly environmental with ancient culture. It is our responsibility to minimize the air, soil and water pollution and save the energy pure water fresh air and healthy soil. The concept of ecofriendly laboratory has taken an initiative in 1990’s as a missing in developed countries such as Germany, UK, USA and Japan to make chemistry and chemical reactions safe and less hazardous up to maximum extent. Green Lab is concerned not only with pollution control, less energy consumption but it also considers quality, cost of products and efficient of adopted methods.

2]  X RAY ANALYSIS OF BHOPAL GAS VICTIMS.

Abstract
Environmental philosophers have been warning about the danger of industrialization. The industrial disasters, the massive releases of chemical agents are disruptive to the lives of individuals at many levels. Only when a nightmarish incident like the Bhopal gas tragedy involving loss of numerous lives occurs we realize the paid price for progress. Environment has direct impact on the Physical, Mental and Social well being of those living in it. There is an increasing evidence that chronic diseases ,accidental injuries and mental illness are the major outcome of man’s maladjustment to environmental Hazards. The present work describes the disaster caused by the Bhopal gas tragedy and also its after
effects specially on the lung functions of MIC victims which continue to suffer them even now, over two and a half decade of tragedy.

3] 2,3,7,8 TETRA DICHLORODIBENZO PARADIOXIN(TCDD) : A WIDE SPREAD CONTAMINANT.

Abstract :
Dioxins are produced naturally as a by-product of calamities like forest fires and volcanoes, though there production through these sources is relatively negligible. These are unwanted chemical agents that are produced in several industrial processes such as the incineration of municipal and hospital waste, sewage sludge, bleaching process of pulp and the paper industries, in metal and cement industries, as well as during uncontrolled combustion like burning of house hold waste. There exist 210 polychlorinated dioxins and furans congeners. 2,3,7,8 TCDD is the most toxic compound of this family of structurally related chemicals that have a common mechanism of action and are believe to induce the same spectrum of health related effects. 2,3,7,8 Tetra Dichlorodibenzo-para-dioxin (TCDD) is a wide spread contaminant. In 1997, ICAR (International Agency for Research on Cancer) classified TCDD as carcinogenic of humans (Group 1), based on carcinogenicity in humans, sufficient evidence in animals and strong evidence in humans and animals for a common mechanism of action via initial bindings to the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR). Lung, lymphatic, hematopoietic and breast cancer incidence were observed significantly positively related amongst women in various cohort studies. The present paper is a review of occurrence, action and mechanism of carcinogenicity and health effects of dioxin on human health.

4] EVALUATION OF CO-RELATION COEFFICIENT OF SOIL ERODIBILITY FACTOR AND PHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF SOIL.

ABSTRACT:-
Erosion is detachment and transportation of soil. In most cases water is the transporting agent, some times wind also plays its part. surface and sub-surface soil samples, representing eight physiographic units were studied to assess soil erodibility factor 'K'. Soils with higher content of the intermediate particle size fractions viz silt to very fine sand were more susceptible to erosion whereas soils with high organic matter were less erodible. Relationship of erodibility factor and some physicochemical properties were also estimated. Based on the erodibility indices, the majority of the soils were under moderate erodible class in both surface and sub-surface soils.

5] WOMEN AND SCIENTIFIC TEMPER.

In India the strongly entreched caste society with innumearable division and sub-division and
multitude of religious rites and ceremonies and the law of purification have made very difficult
for women to understand any different enterprise. The religion practiced by the Indian’s helped
greatly in the development of humanity by establishing values and principles to govern human
life but also it was not fully conductive for social development and keeping pace with the
changing world. The long period of intellectual stagnation has resulted in woman’s a habit of
dependence of routine and religious rites.

6] E-Resources as Innovative Tool In Library and information Science.

ABSTRACT
The need for application of Information Communication technology by Library Professional is
twofold. First, Librarians can use information technology for their own professional growth and
secondly they can use it for making teaching and learning process more effective. Whether library professionals use technology for self learning or for enhancing pupil learning they need to acquire and develop professional knowledge and skills in using it. Library Professional’s work load can also be reduced by using E-Resources. Their role will be changed from that of a librarian to that of a Facilitator. They need to teach students how to select information and synthesize it and how to find a right way in conflicting and contradictory situations. Internet has become an integral part of our life. This paper will discuss use of E- resources in Library and information Science.

Ten Simple Rules for Writing Research Papers

Rule 1: Make It a Driving Force

Never separate writing a paper from the underlying research. After all, writing and research are integral parts of the overall enterprise. Therefore, design a project with an ultimate paper firmly in mind. Include an outline of the paper in the initial project design documents to help form the research objectives, determine the logical flow of the experiments, and organize the materials and data to be used. Furthermore, use writing as a tool to reassess the overall project, reevaluate the logic of the experiments, and examine the validity of the results during the research. As a result, the overall research may need to be adjusted, the project design may be revised, new methods may be devised, and new data may be collected. The process of research and writing may be repeated if necessary.

Rule 2: Less Is More

It is often the case that more than one hypothesis or objective may be tackled in one project. It is also not uncommon that the data and results gathered for one objective can serve additional purposes.

Guidelines for Submission of Paper

Guidelines for Submission:

All manuscripts must be in English and in MS Word format.
They have not been and will not be published in whole or in part in any other journal.
The e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of all authors must be provided.
Illustrations (figures) of manuscripts should be in computer format.
Authors must state in a covering letter when submitting papers for publication the novelty embodied in their work or in the approach taken in their research.
Authors must state in a covering letter when submitting papers for publication the novelty embodied in their work or in the approach taken in their research.
Manuscripts submitted under multiple authorship are reviewed on the assumption that all listed authors concur with the submission and that a copy of the final manuscript has been approved by all authors.

Format & Style: Text of manuscript should be arranged in the following order: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Body Text, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements and References.

Title: Title should be short and explanatory enough.

Abstract: Abstract should be of no more than 150 words. Below the abstract should provide 3 to 8 keywords. The abstract should not be structured for a brief report, review article, symposia and research methodology. Do not include references in abstract.

Introduction: Introduction should lead the reader to the importance of the study; tie-up published literature with the aims of the study and clearly states the rationale behind the investigation. It should state the purpose and summarize the rationale for the study and gives a concise background. Use references to provide the most salient background rather than an exhaustive review. The last sentence should concisely state your purpose for carrying out the study.

Body Text: It should be elaborative enough to explain all the procedures, methods, observations and data. Use heading and subheading and references wherever needed.

Conclusion: A conclusion might elaborate on the importance of the work or suggest applications and extensions.

Page Layout: Your manuscript must use a page size corresponding to A4 which is 210mm (8.27") wide and 297mm (11.69") long. The margins must be set as follows : Top = 19mm (0.75") Bottom = 19mm (0.75") Left = Right = 12.7mm (0.5")

References: The authors should list all references alphabetically at end of the paper :

It must be single spaced, and at the end of the manuscript. Each reference should be hanging 0.25" from the left.
References when used in the text enclose the citation in brackets, using author's surname, followed by comma and the year of publication, and arranged chronologically (Boyd, 1992; Kotler, 2000).
In case authors name is part of the text, only quote the year of publication in brackets. Wong, 1995 reported that…Bhatnagar et al. (2007) found that.
References for journals, proceedings of conferences, books, website, and dissertation should follow the Harvard Referencing System.
The authors are advised to mention only those references actually used in their manuscript
